We prove some abstract Wegner bounds for random self-adjoint operators on Hilbert spaces. Applications include a new linear Wegner estimate for a discrete multi-particle Anderson model, as well as a non-linear Wegner bound for a quantum graph with random edge length in which the distribution of the random variables modelling the edge length do not necessarily have a density. Finally, we also give an elementary proof of a Wegner bound for continuous multi-particle Anderson Hamiltonians without a covering condition.
