We present an algorithm for computing some previously introduced concepts of relative velocity of a distant test particle with respect to an observer: kinematic, Fermi, spectroscopic and astrometric relative velocities. The algorithm is focused on finding the Fermi and observational coordinates of the test particle with respect to the observer, and it can be extended to non-convex normal neighborhoods. We make some convergence tests and study some fundamental examples in Schwarzschild and Kerr spacetimes. Finally, we show an alternative method for computing the Fermi and astrometric relative velocities.
