Excess quantity derived from fiber bundles in counting statistics    [PDF]

We propose a new application of the scheme of fiber bundles to the counting statistics. Using the fiber bundle discussions, a cumulant generating function for current in stochastic processes is divided into two parts, i.e., the dynamical quantity and the geometric one. We will show that the introduced geometric quantity is connected to a kind of excess quantities, which have been investigated a lot in nonequilibrium physics. Numerical experiments for a specific nonequilibrium model are performed, and we confirm that the geometric quantity has the characteristics of the excess quantities.
