When local channel preserves the maximal entanglement    [PDF]

Maximal entanglement can be viewed as the most strong quantum correlation which plays an important role in various quantum information tasks. In this paper, a necessary and sufficient condition for a local channel that preserves the maximally entangled states (MES) is proposed. We show that a local channel preserves MES if and only if it is a locally unitary operation.
